With the help of enthusiastic and committed professionals, WAAL has made significant strides over the years reaching out to its members and the community by hosting free legal clinics and seminars, promoting diversity in and outside of the legal profession, and providing financial assistance to African-American law students attending the Wisconsin law schools. 

This dinner is an opportunity to celebrate and honor the achievements of the late Vel and Dale Phillips, as well as the next generation of Wisconsin lawyers.
